Tumbling is the art of linking acrobatic movements on the floor, such as cartwheels, flips, saltos, flic-flacs and twists.
In competitive cheerleading, it plays an essential role: not only does it demonstrate the athletes’ physical strength, power and coordination, but it also adds energy and dynamism to a routine.
Each level of competition requires specific tumbling skills, and these movements are closely evaluated by the judges. Whether solo, in synchronization with the team or as a transition between two elements, tumbling contributes to the complexity and fluidity of the choreography.
As well as being visually impressive, it allows athletes to push their limits and stand out from the crowd in a well-honed routine.
At Physik, we know that tumbling is a key component of competitive cheerleading. That’s why we offer a tumbling-specific course designed to develop the technical skills necessary for cheer performance.
We also offer private tumbling courses tailored to each athlete’s objectives, whether they want to master a new movement or perfect their technique. Our qualified coaches, all cheerleading specialists, accompany each athlete with rigor, encouragement and expertise.
